A Torrance-area punk rock show featuring regional bands Aggression, Circle One, Dirty Rebels and others ended in violence, with one man fatally shot and another injured from a stabbing, authorities said.

It happened at Alpine Village in an unincorporated part of L.A. county next to Torrance about 12:25 a.m. yesterday, according to a sheriff's statement.

… are believed to be unrelated — and two different suspects are sought in each, deputies said.

The sheriff's department says:

The victim had been attending a punk-rock concert when a fight broke out. The fight spilled out into the parking lot and at some point, the victim was shot by an unknown assailant. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A second male victim was stabbed during the fight and was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. These two incidents of violence are likely separate crimes occurring at the same venue.
