Gloria Allred canceled a press conference scheduled for Thursday that was to showcase Rachel Uchitel's denials of an affair with golfer Tiger Woods. TMZ managing editor Harvey Levin stated on KNX 1070 (AM) Newsradio this morning that Uchitel had an ongoing affair with Woods and was even on the phone with him as recently as last night.

Levin also said that in a couple decades of “covering” Gloria Allred he had never known the Los Angeles attorney to cancel a news conference. The press conference or lack thereof was the latest twist in the Woods scandal. This week he admitted to “transgressions” as another woman, Southern Californian Jaimee Grubbs, who recently unveiled voicemail messages left to her by the golf great.

TMZ states that Woods was exchanging text messages with Uchitel the night of his bizarre accident last week in Florida in which he drove into a tree outside his home and his wife reportedly rescued him by bashing out a window with a golf club.

Woods was scheduled to be in town this week for his annual tournament at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks but bowed out citing injuries — reported as cuts and bruises — from the fender bender.
