A suspect who allegedly bit off the tip of a man's finger at the Jay Z-Beyonce Concert over the weekend faced two felony charges today, including suspicion of mayhem and battery with serious bodily injury, prosecutors said

Roberto Alcaraz Garnica, a San Diego man who just turned 25, was also charged with one more count, this one suspicion of misdemeanor battery, according to an L.A. County District Attorney's office statement.

Here's what prosecutors allege Garnica did on Saturday at the Rose Bowl event:

]

 … Garnica pushed a woman at the concert into some chairs, prosecutors said. When the woman's husband confronted the defendant he punched the husband and a fight ensued, the prosecutor added. During the fight Garnica allegedly bit the tip of the male victim's left index finger off completely.

Some reports alleged that Garnica had groped the woman before getting into a confrontation with her companion at the concert.

However, the charges don't seem to totally reflect that alleged scenario, at least the groping part of it.

In any case, the 25-year-old was taken into custody by Pasadena police, and now he faces as many as 8 years behind bars if he's successfully convicted, the D.A.'s office says.

Prosecutors are recommending that Garnica's bail be set at $100,000 dollars. We just hope that they don't wag their fingers at him too much. Just in case.
