Two Hurt in Semi-Truck Collision near Twisselman Road

BUTTONWILLOW, CA (November 8, 2022) – Monday morning, Allan Shultz and Susan Shultz were hurt in a big-rig crash on 5 Freeway.

The incident took place around 10:40 a.m., on the northbound lanes of I-5, just north of Twisselman Road.

Per reports, 20-year-old Simranjeet Singh, of Vacaville was driving a northbound semi-truck when he failed to slow down for stopped traffic. As a result, he struck four other vehicles.

First responders arrived shortly after and located Allan Shultz, 77, and Susan Shultz, 76, with injuries. Medics then transported them to Mercy Hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the occupants of the three other vehicles did not sustain any injuries. Once available, more information will be provided.
