The All Star Chef Classic returns for its second year beginning tonight in downtown L.A. The four-day event includes a series of international dinners, as well as daytime tasting events. Most of these events are held in a food TV-style set dubbed “kitchen stadium” at LA Live.

Quite a few of the events are sold out, but there are still tickets to some of the dinners and other events. You can still buy tickets to tomorrow evening's American Master's Dinner featuring Nancy Silverton, Wylie Dufresne, Daniel Patterson, and Michael Cimarusti, with desserts from  Christina Tosi, founder of Momofuku Milk Bar in New York City. On Friday night, tickets are available for the British Master's Dinner, featuring chefs Bryn Williams, Dan Doherty, James Lowe, Mark Hix and Skye Gyngell. And the Saturday evening Grill & Chill event, which still has some tickets available, features many of L.A.'s best chefs cooking over open flames.

Though the French Master's Dinner is sold out, one of the most interesting things about the All Star Chef's Classic is the opportunity to taste the work of chefs from Europe, to eat food you otherwise would have to travel to France or London to get. While the American Classics dinner looks fantastic, I'd be more inclined to check out the British Master's Dinner, as a way to peek into the incredible culinary scene happening in England right now. Sadly, I'll be out of town for the event. All the more tickets for you!
