Lanes Opens after Truck Accident Caused Hazardous Material Spill on Wilmot Road

TUCSON, AZ (November 2, 2021) – Following a truck accident on Wilmot Road that spilt hazardous materials on Thursday, all lanes of I-10 have reopened.

A passenger car and a tractor-trailer were involved in the two-vehicle accident, which Arizona DPS is classifying a minor injury incident.

According to DPS, the vehicle was carrying isocyanate, a toxic substance.

The accident occurred in the westbound lanes, which were blocked for many hours as a result.

Furthermore, the identities and conditions of those injured have not been released at this time.
