33-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead Following Auto-Pedestrian Collision near Russell Road

LAS VEGAS, NV (January 10, 2023) Saturday night, a pedestrian accident on Boulder Highway claimed the life of Alissa Rose Morena. The incident took place on New Year’s Eve, along Boulder Highway and Russell Road, per responding authorities. According to reports, a female pedestrian was struck by a passing vehicle as they attempted to cross the street, outside of a marked crossing area. Responding authorities arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene, police later identified the deceased as 33-year-old Alissa Rose Morena. Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. At this time, police have ruled out the driver was impaired, however, an active investigation is still underway. Las Vegas police department will release additional information once available.
