23-Year-Old Victim Dead after ATV Accident near Base Line Street

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (April 26, 2022) – Sunday morning, 23-year-old Alfredo Magana was killed in a stolen ATV collision on California Street.

Per reports, the incident happened around 2:28 a.m., near Base Line Street. Officers say Alfredo stole a blue Yamaha ATV for reasons unknown.

Magana then slammed the ATV into the back of a parked car. Medical personnel transported him to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Following preliminary investigations, authorities believe that alcohol and speed played a factor in the incident.

Crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

At this time, an active investigation into the crash is still currently underway.
