27-Year-Old Man Arrested after DUI Collision on Rincon Avenue

LIVERMORE, CA (November 17, 2021) – Authorities arrested Alfonso Garcia of Livermore after a DUI collision on Rincon Avenue.

The accident happened on 200 block, Rincon Avenue around 2:40 a.m. of November 12.

According to California Highway Patrol, Garcia struck multiple vehicles and a power pole. Although, authorities reported no injuries from the crash at this moment.

Following the collision, Garcia fled the scene on foot but nearby witnesses were able to stop him. As a result, police eventually charged him on suspicion of driving under the influence.

At this time, authorities have not released any additional information. However, the cause of the accident and factors involved remain under investigation.
