Suspected DUI Crash on Highway 184 Left Alfonso Abarca Gaspar and One Other Dead

BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 8, 2021) – A suspected DUI crash on Highway 184 claimed the life of Alfonso Abarca Gaspar Friday morning.

According to the authorities, a Jeep driven by 38-year-old Marcia Luqueleyson crossed over the centerline of Highway 184.

As a result, it collided with Gaspar’s Toyota going southbound on the same highway, just south of Highway 58.

Unfortunately, the two passengers inside Luqueleyson’s vehicle died at the scene.

In addition, the Kern County Coroner’s Office also identified 58-year-old Alfonso Abarca Gaspar as one of the deceased victims.

Meanwhile, Luqueleyson remained at Kern Medical for treatment of major injuries pending arrest for DUI.
