46-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Collision on Utopia Road

PHOENIX, AZ (February 18, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Cave Creek left 46-year-old Alexander Ventseslavov dead, Tuesday morning,

The incident occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m., near Utopia Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.

According to the preliminary investigation, Ventseslavov was heading north on Cave Creek Road on a motorcycle. Eventually, his bike collided with a Peterbilt truck that was making a turn at the intersection.

Consequently, the impact pushed the motorcyclist across lanes of traffic, where he was eventually struck by another vehicle.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Ventseslavov dead at the scene.

Following preliminary duties, police said that impairment or speed was not a factor in the crash. Although, an active investigation into the accident is still currently ongoing.
