26-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Struck on 15 Freeway near Hesperia
CAJON PAS, CA (May 4, 2021) – Alex Zwingmann was killed following a fatal DUI crash on 15 Freeway near Cajon Pass, early Sunday morning.
The fatal crash took place on 15 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived just south of Oak Hill Road around 4:12 a.m., on April 25.
According to police, a 1996 Honda 900RR crashed into a parked 2005 black Ford Mustang that ran out of gas on Cajon Pass in 15 Freeway.
Rescuers pronounced Zwingmann dead on the scene due to the impact of the collision.
Northbound traffic on 15 Freeway was temporarily stopped prompting CHP to issue a SigAlert for several hours. But, the roadway has since reopened.
Authorities are currently conducting an active investigation into the fatal crash. More information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
