64-year-old Woman Killed after Head-on Collision with DUI Suspect Alejandro Carrion

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 10, 2021) – 27-year-old Alejandro Carrion was arrested Monday morning after a DUI collision that claimed the life of a woman.

Around 7:30 a.m., Las Vegas Metro Police responded to the incident near the Gilcrease Orchard in North Vegas.

According to LVMP two drivers, one heading eastbound, the other westbound, collided head-on along the roadway. As a result, one of the driver was killed.

The other driver, Alejandro Carrion, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries before being placed into custody for driving under the influence.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the 64-year-old woman at this time.
