Adams Boulevard Crash Kills Alden Richards Jr.

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 8, 2021)Alden Richards Jr. died after being struck by a vehicle on Adams Boulevard in the University Park area.

Authorities said around 5 a.m., Richards was standing at a bus stop when a southbound vehicle traveling on Flower Street struck him.

Afterwards, the vehicle, occupied by two, crashed into a nearby electrical pole.

Paramedics pronounced 44-year-old Richards dead at the scene.

No further information was available regarding the state of the others involved in the crash.

The driver of the vehicle is under police custody. Police said the person may have been driving while impaired, but an active investigation is still underway.
