24-Year-Old Man Charged after Slamming into Girlfriend’s Car near Tonopah

TONOPAH, AZ (September 28, 2022) – Monday afternoon, Alberto Sebastian Medina was arrested after a car crash on Interstate 10.

Police began receiving calls about two vehicles traveling at speeds upwards of 100 mph on the freeway. Shortly after, one of the drivers rammed into the other, causing the vehicle that was struck to roll several times.

First responders arrived and located the rolled vehicle stopped in the center median. Paramedics then transported the female driver to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, officers arrested 24-year-old Alberto Sebastian Medina for one charge of second-degree attempted murder, aggravated assault, endangerment, and criminal damage.

Following preliminary duties, police determine that the two involved drivers were a couple. In addition, the collision appeared to be intentional. Once available, further details will be provided.
