22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Deadly Accident on Southern Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (February 11, 2022) – 22-year-old Alberto Reyes was killed early Tuesday night, in a motorcycle collision on 11th Street.

The accident occurred just before 11:30 p.m., on February 8. Emergency crews responded to the scene near Southern Avenue shortly after.

For reasons unknown, a vehicle and motorcycle collided in the area. Upon impact, the motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries. Paramedics arrived and pronounced Reyes dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries. Although, authorities did not released their name or place of residency.

The surrounding area was closed off during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

No other details about the deadly motorcycle crash were released. However, an active investigation is still currently ongoing.
