East Betteravia Road Crash left One 44-Year-Old Man Dead, Two Injured

SANTA MARIA, CA (May 5,2022) Authorities identified 44-year-old Alberto Gonzalez as the deceased victim of a two-car crash on Philbric Road.

According to the police, the crash happened around 6:35 a.m. on May 2nd near E. Betteravia Road and Philbric Road.

Investigators identified the incident as a two-vehicle crash that involved a Honda Civic and a semi-truck.

Furthermore, emergency crews located 44-year-old Gonzalez and pronounced him dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.

In addition, authorities also said the semi-truck driver, Fidel Gomes Reyes (64), and the Honda driver, Domingo Perez Lopez (32), sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Moreover, Santa Maria Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash, an active investigation is currently underway.
