Suspects Attempt to Flee after Hit-and-Run Accident on Chicken Ranch Road

JAMESTOWN, CA (March 25, 2021) – Monday afternoon, Albert Roman III of Oakdale, was arrested after a hit-and-run accident on Chicken Ranch Road.

The incident took place around 3:50 p.m., near Highway 108. For reasons unknown, a 2005 Mercedes was traveling at a high rate of speed when it veered off the road.

Subsequently, the Mercedes driven by Roman traveled up an embankment and eventually overturned on top of another 2001 Mercedes.

Immediately after the impact, Albert Roman, 19-year-old Nathaniel Stetson of Ceres, and a 16-year-old girl from Oakdale, fled the scene. However, officers located them shortly after.

All three occupants inside the vehicle were arrested for felony hit-and-run and other charges. The occupants inside the 2001 Mercedes, 60-year-old Floyd Johnson Jr., and his 69-year-year-old passenger Richard Alvarez suffered injuries.

At this time, authorities ask those with further information to contact their offices as soon as possible.
