64-Year-Old Dead on Vehicle Collision near Corcoran Road

BUTTONWILLOW, CA (April 29, 2022) – On Thursday, a head-on crash along State Route 46 claimed the life of Albert Lee Lepper.

According to the report, Lepper collided with a crane vehicle along State Route 47, west of Corcoran Road in Buttonwillow.

Unfortunately, the California Highway Patrol declared the 64-year-old man dead at the scene.

Investigators said Lepper suddenly swerved into the westbound lanes while going eastbound and collided head-on with the crash.

The driver of the crane on the other hand sustained minor injuries, including scrapes on his hands and arms.

At this time, the CHP is investigating any medical issues that may have contributed to the crash.
