35-Year-Old Male Motorcyclist Dies in Fatal Collision near Corona Avenue in Ontario

ONTARIO, CA (March 25, 2021) – Late Saturday evening, 35-year-old Albert Cruz was killed in a deadly motorcycle crash on East D Street.

Officers arrived to the scene around 10:23 p.m., on March 20. According to reports, a mid-sized SUV and motorcycle collided on the road.

Authorities say the SUV was traveling west on East D Street and slowing down to make a right turn into a residential driveway. Meanwhile, Cruz was also riding his motorcycle west and attempted to pass the SUV on the right side when they collided.

Upon arrival, paramedics rushed Cruz to San Antonio Regional Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries around 11:34 p.m.

The surrounding area on East D Street was closed for a brief time during cleanup. But, the roadway has since reopened.

At this time, authorities continue to investigate. Once available, more information will be provided to the public.
