DUI Driver Slams into Home near Dakota Avenue in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (April 27, 2021) – Early Thursday morning, authorities arrested 35-year-old Alan Lottinville of Fresno, after a DUI accident on Palm Avenue.
The accident occurred around 2:00 a.m., near Dakota Avenue. Per reports, deputies attempted to pull over an erratic driver near Shaw and Maroa Avenue.
According to CHP, the driver of the suspect vehicle then sped away and fled the scene, failing to stop at multiple stop signs.
As soon as the vehicle crossed the tracks at Dakota and Palm Avenue, the car went airborne. Amidst the chaos, the vehicle ended up in the laundry room of a nearby house.
Emergency crews arrived and took the driver, Lottinville, and his passenger to a nearby hospital. They were said to have suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
In addition, no one inside the house suffered injuries.
Deputies later arrested Lottinville on several charges, including evading a police officer, felony DUI, and outstanding warrants for previous DUI charges.
At this time, officers continue to investigate further details leading up to the accident.
