Aggrolites Bring Dirty Reggae to Long Beach: Dirty reggae band the Aggrolites formed in 2002 out of the ashes of two other California bands — the Vessels and the Rhythm Doctors. The band was in the midst of promoting its REGGAE NOW! album when the pandemic hit, and now they’re getting back on track.

Live music — how we’ve missed it. And Alex’s Bar in Long Beach is one of the best places to catch a punk show in the entire region. Further, their Sunday afternoon gigs are a fantastic way to enjoy the Day of Rest. So here we are — with sensible guidelines in place, we can enjoy nice things again. The many independent music venues in the area, including Alex’s, deserve to catch a break after riding out this storm, and this show is going to be a good one. On Father’s Day, no less.

Aggrolites Bring Dirty Reggae to Long Beach: The event begins at 2 p.m. PT on Sunday, June 20 at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach.
