Treating A-listers with everything from Botox to liquid nose reshaping, aesthetician Dr. Motox has become a celebrity in his own right. VIPs fly from around the globe to visit the Dr. Motox clinics in London. The doctor, born and raised in Iraq before moving to the UK at age eight, works on stars ranging from A’Whora and Bimini Bon Boulash from RuPaul’s Drag Race to social media influencers. Other clients include reality show personalities like Francesca Farago and Emily Miller of Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle and contestants on Love Island. Not for nothing has Dr. Motox climbed his way to the top. His aesthetic practice began in a maxillofacial unit of a hospital treating patients with head and neck conditions. Before that, his life in the medical world began with an Honours Degree in dental surgery at university in Wales. “I think it’s important to have some sort of medical background or training and to be knowledgeable about anatomy and physiology,” Dr. Motox told Dazed magazine. While Dr. Motox offers all the treatments people want from an aesthetics clinic, he has specialized his own techniques to achieve results unseen from other doctors. These treatments include the basics of Botox and fillers for lips, cheeks, chins, etc., as well as Profhilo skin treatments, liquid face lifts, fox eye thread lifts and liquid nose reshaping. The Dr. Motox clinic caters to all gender identities and works in both masculinization and feminization refinement. For clients who want more significant work, Dr. Motox ensures that they are in the right headspace to make that decision. He is careful and sensitive about seeing clients with body dysmorphia, sometimes having to tell clients that what they are chasing is not something he can give them. “I won’t ever be able to make someone look like an airbrushed Instagram filter,” Dr. Motox told Dazed. “I can only enhance what you already have.” The aesthetician continues to perfect his craft and build his loyal clientele, while also serving as Director and Trainer of Harley Street Aesthetics Academy. With over 18,000 followers on Instagram, including a post liked by Kylie Jenner’s skincare brand Kylie Skin, photos of his clients’ results speak for themselves. His method focuses on enhancing a client’s features, providing natural but noticeable results. Dr. Motox can identify the adjustments that would look good on a particular client, whether that is dissolving, tweaking or injecting. He has dissolved more dermal filler than most clinics worldwide, and people often go to him to create their look after dissolving their previous filler. Dr. Motox’s honesty, skill and keen aesthetic instinct have drawn celebrity clients from around the world. “I will never just take someone’s money if I don’t believe something is right for a client,” Dr. Motox told Dazed. “And that always encourages them to come back to me, because they know I will be honest and give them something that works for them personally.
