An indictment letter revealed that adult film star Ron Jeremy, 67, was charged with 33 counts of sexual assault on August 19.

Jeremy, whose legal name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, pleaded not guilty to all counts at the Los Angeles Superior court, with the alleged incidents involving 21 women and spanning between 1996 and 2019.

Jeremy’s last public statement came through an August 2020 tweet where he emphatically said he was “innocent of all charges” and couldn’t “wait to prove my innocence in court!”

The indictment involves 12 rape charges going as far back as 1996 during a photo shoot with a 19-year-old woman, seven counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person, one count of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 or 15 and one count of sodomy by use of force and assault with intent to commit rape.

“Far too often, survivors of sexual assault suffer in isolation,” District Attorney George Gascón said in a statement Wednesday. “We must ensure that survivors have all options available to help with recovery, including trauma-informed services for healing and support to report such crimes.”

The film star is scheduled to appear in court again on October 12 for a pretrial conference and if convicted of all charges, could face a maximum of 330 years in prison.

Jeremy has been held on an $8.6 million bond since June 2020.
