41-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Navajo Road

APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 24, 2021)  Adan Villanueva lost his life in pedestrian crash on Navajo Road on Saturday.

The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Navajo Road and Ojai Road.

According to reports, a white GMC Terrain struck the pedestrian walking in the No. 1 lane under unclear circumstances.

Responding officers pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Officials identified the victim as Adan Villanueva, 41, a resident of Victorville.

Meanwhile, the GMC driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Following the investigation, police did not consider drugs and alcohol to be factors in the crash.

Apple Valley police are continuing to try and determine the cause of the fatal crash.
