34-Year-Old Man Killed in L.A. Pedestrian Accident

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 6, 2021) – 34-year-old Abdoul Diallo of Inglewood died Thursday morning in an accident on La Cienega Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 12:35 a.m. July 1, on La Cienega Boulevard at Imperial Highway. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.

According to reports, a southbound vehicle struck Diallo who was crossing La Cienega outside of the marked crosswalk.

Upon impact, the driver did not stop and continued driving ahead. Authorities described the suspect vehicle as a white recreational vehicle or camper.

Responding medics arrived soon after and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

At this time, authorities are conducting active investigation of the crash, once available more information will be released.
