In opening news, Pizza Rev (fast-casual “craft your own” pizza concept) is coming to Woodland Hills on December 5. And, as if we need more butter and sugar to stuff ourselves with this holiday season, Georgetown Cupcakes opened in Beverly Hills and Sprinkles at The Grove, channeling Willy Wonka with hiding “golden tickets” in five cakes. In chain expansion news, Seasons 52 opened in Westfield's Century City Mall, replacing Houston's. Also coming soon is WeHo's newest Italian restaurant, RivaBella, a project from Innovative Dining Group and chef Gino Angelini.

In closing news, owner Michael Cardenas is bidding Fat Spoon farewell. The year-old curry/pasta fusion spot in Little Tokyo was sold to Martin Koloff, who runs several restaurants in Las Vegas and L.A. Koloff is planning a sanuki udon spot, according to EaterLA.
