Before anyone with a camera phone became an amateur paparazzo, celebrity lensman Patrick McMullan has been on the other side of the velvet rope photographing the glitterati for 30 years, dating back to the days of Studio 54. He's a contributing editor at Vanity Fair whose photos have been splashed across the pages of New York magazine, the New York Times, Vogue and Harper's Bazaaar. And for the opening night of the museum's Costume Council's 55th season, McMullan unveils his latest book, Glamour Girls, which features more than 1,000 photographs of the rich and famous, from Gwyneth Paltrow to Donatella Versace to Raquel Welch.
