Today you could see It's a Wonderful Life at the Aero, or a double Charlie Chaplin bill at the Egyptian. You could also go skating at any number of outdoor holiday-festooned ice rinks. But wouldn't you rather go to a comedy club and see a wonderfully oddball chick with a comic juggler (Ivan Pecel) and a magician (Justin Rivera)? Melissa Villasenor is the hilarious weirdo you're going to love. She's gained attention for her one-woman show I'm Not Myself and her wonderful impressions of Ellen DeGeneres, Sarah Silverman and Bjork, among many others. Just watch her sing Alicia Keyes' “This Girl on Fire” on YouTube as “Depressed Girl on Fire.” For her Ice House show, she's looking forward to “sprinkling in some Christmas jokes.” She adds, “The holiday season affects my comedy by making me even more merrier and wanting to make sure that I bring laughs and smiles to everyone in the crowd during this time of year. I find it great to have jugglers or other kinds of acts in a comedy show. It makes the audience loosen up and enjoy different arts!” The Ice House, 24 N Mentor Ave., Pasadena; Sun., Dec. 23, 7 p.m.; $10. (626) 577-1894.
