Nine Pedestrians Struck and Injured in Collision near MacArthur Park

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 13, 2022) – Saturday morning, nine victims were injured in a pedestrian accident on Alvarado Street.

Authorities responded to the scene around 8:36 a.m, near MacArthur Park after receiving multiple dispatch calls.

Per reports, a 2001 Ford F-150 was traveling west on Wilshire Boulevard when the driver veered off the road and into vendors and nearby pedestrians.

Medical personnel arrived and treated nine people for various injuries. Crews transported six victims to a nearby hospital, while three refused further medical care.

Meanwhile, the involved driver did not show any signs of impairment. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under active investigation.
