Nine Injured in Van vs Pickup-Truck Collision near East Mountain View Avenue

KINGSBURG, CA (October 7, 2024) – Nine victims sustained injuries Tuesday morning, in a two-car crash on South Bethel Avenue.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m., near East Mountain View Avenue.

According to Kingsburg Police, a westbound black Dodge pickup collided with a Chevrolet Astro van after the Chevy moved into the path of the Dodge, causing the crash.

Paramedics transported six individuals from the Dodge and three from the van to a hospital for treatment, though their identities have not yet been released.

Emergency crews temporarily shut down the surrounding area for cleanup and initial investigation.

Kingsburg Police are continuing to look into the cause of the accident. Further details regarding the two-vehicle collision on South Bethel Avenue will be released as the investigation progresses.
