At Least 8 Injured after Stolen Car Hit School Bus on 108th Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 8, 2022) On Wednesday, eight people sustained injuries after a two-vehicle collision on 108th Street.

The incident happened around 7:30 p.m., in the 200 block of West 108th Street.

According to reports, officers attempted to pull over an SUV driver who they believed have stolen the car he was driving. Instead, the driver fled the authorities and crashed into a school bus.

Responding officers located six children inside the bus at the time of the crash. Videos from the scene showed that the kids escaped out of the emergency exit to safety.

Fortunately, all of them did not sustain major injuries. Meanwhile, medics took the SUV driver to the hospital with unknown injuries.

In addition, firefighters onsite also found high-voltage wires down in the area.

At this time, the LAPD officials continue to investigate the collision.
