Seven Hurt in Van Nuys Major Three-Car Collision on 405 Freeway

VAN NUYS, CA (March 30, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, seven people were injured in a three-car collision on 405 Freeway near Sherman Way.

According to the authorities, the crash happened around 4:35 p.m., on March 21. Emergency crews arrived on the southbound lanes, shortly after.

For reasons unknown, three vehicles collided. As a result, seven people suffered minor injuries and were sent to a nearby hospital.

Furthermore, police had to block the No. 3 and 4 southbound lanes for several hours to investigate the crash. However, the road has since reopened.

Meantime, the exact details on the cause and circumstances leading up to the crash are under investigation.
