Mark your calendars for June, July and August. The 626 Night Market is coming back to the San Gabriel Valley. Think sticks of cumin-sprinkled lamb skewers, bucket loads of putrid tofu marinated in day-old brine and cups of bubble tea brimming with foam. What's new this time around? A 350-foot terrace beer garden.

This is the market's fourth gathering since its debut last April. The Asian-themed evening event will feature more than 80 Asian food vendors plus merchandise, alcohol and live music. The event space is at Santa Anita's Paddock Gardens in Arcadia, and the stretch of road right outside the gardens will be transformed into a night market-style alley.

Admission is $2 from 4 to 6 p.m. and $3 after 6 p.m. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is free. Market days are June 8-9; July 6-7; and Aug. 3-4. Event hours are 4 p.m. to midnight on Saturdays, and 4 to 10 p..m on Sundays.
