A serial robber whose last crime, in Beverly Hills, was witnessed by cops who finally caught up with him was sentenced this week to a whopping 620 years behind bars.

Despite that botched attempt in Beverly Hills that put him behind bars, Alonzo Harris, 54, was “extremely violent,” prosecutor Jack Garden said.

He did 14 takeover robberies in a 9-month stretch and even sexually assaulted a woman on December 23 of 2007 — during a grocery store heist, according to the L.A. County District Attorney's office:

Harris also pistol-whipped victims during “take over” robberies of area businesses in 2007 and 2008, prosecutors said. He always had a firearm, authorities said.

Thus, the judge gave him 620 years “to life” this week after he was convicted of 37 counts.

The Beverly Hills robbery targeted Lawry's the Prime Rib on La Cienega Boulevard on July 11, 2008, according to the D.A.'s office.

The heist fell apart when Harris and co-defendant Floyd Nelson, 54, couldn't persuade a chef to open the restaurant's safe, prosecutors said.

When the duo exited, Los Angeles police officers who had them under surveillance were waiting with guns and handcuffs at-the-ready, D.A.'s officials said.

Nelson was convicted by the same jury of three counts related to the botched Beverly Hills robbery, prosecutors said.

All he'll see behind years is a cool 50 years.
