60 Watt Kid “Osicnarfnas”

It's not that often that Sean Carnage hosts month-long residencies at his Monday Nights happening. This July, though, the honor goes to locals 60 Watt Kid. Relying heavily on analog electronic equipment and tape loops in addition to the usual guitar strumming, the trio has a Krautrock vibe by way of mid-1990s college radio favorites. According to Carnage's website, 60 Watt Kid is debuting new music at each installment of this month-long event.

60 Watt Kid will be playing tonight with Protect Me, Moment Trigger, Wah-Wah Exit Wound and Tearist at Women, where Carnage recently relocated the weekly party from Pehrspace.

In other news, Sean Carnage recently produced a podcast for local music magazine LA Record. The mix features tracks from Monday Nights regulars like Foot Village and Winners.
