As all fans know by now, watching the Dodgers on television this season is a disaster.

Their new television channel, SportsNet L.A., can't be seen on a lot of the big cable providers, who refuse to pay for it. So fans are pretty much left stranded at third base.

So while we've already offered some suggestions for workarounds, why not just go to a bar? Unfortunately, your local dive is unlikely to have it, but some watering holes do.

We did some calling around and found a number of blessed establishments who actually carry the game. Eight of them are below, sorted by neighborhood. ]

West Hollywood
Barney's Beanery
There's possibly nothing you can't find at this establishment, with over 200 beers, 700 menu items, 60 TVs and of course, Dodgers games. 8447 Santa Monica Blvd. West Hollywood. (323) 654-2287 barneysbeanery.com

Echo Park
The Short Stop
If you're in the Dodger Stadium area but don't have a ticket, you can always head to the Short Stop, a loud, fun place where leaving your car at home and day drinking is encouraged. 1455 W. Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles. (213) 482-4942

Woodland Hills
Dirty Bull Tavern
It's a little rough around the edges and lives up to its name, but the Dirty Bull Tavern not only offers Dodgers games, it also serves up 45 beers on tap. 21797 Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills. (818) 610-8308 dirtybulltavern.com

Koreatown
Frank 'n Hank
A real dive that only takes cash, Frank's is the kind of place where the game might take a backseat to the ambience, cheap drinks and colorful characters. 518 S Western Ave. Los Angeles. (213) 383-2087

Santa Monica

Busby's West
Busby's West has it all, with great grub, beers, games, billiards and enough televisions for everyone to catch the game, no matter where they sit. 3110 Santa Monica Blvd. Santa Monica. (310) 828-4567 busbysla.com

Culver City
Tattle Tale Room

It's not always pretty, but the Tattle Tale has karaoke seven nights a week, so you have something to listen to while watching the Dodgers. 5401 Sepulveda Blvd. Culver City. (310) 390-2489 tattletaleroom.com

Correction: The original version of this story said that Slater's 50/50 and The Arena Sports Bar & Grill has the games on TV, which is not correct. We regret the error.
