Pedestrian Crash on Washington Street Left One Man Dead

LAS VEGAS, NV (December 30, 2021) – On Thursday, a 59-year-old man died following a pedestrian crash on Robin Street.

The crash took place at around 12:40 p.m. at Washington and Robin Street.

According to witnesses, the pedestrian attempted to run northbound across Washington Street.

Eventually, a black 2020 GMC Terrain SUV struck him as it was traveling westbound.

As per authorities, he was not in a marked crosswalk.

Furthermore, paramedics found the man seriously injured. Afterward, authorities transported the victim to the University Medical Center’s Trauma Unit.

Later on, the victim died as a result of his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the GMC remained at the site and did not appear to be intoxicated.

The accident is still under investigation.
