Hit-and-Run Driver on Chollas Parkway Struck and Killed 57-Year-Old Man

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 3, 2021) – Saturday night on October 23, a 57-Year old man was killed in a hit-and-run on Chollas Parkway.

San Diego Police said the pedestrian “was seen walking in and out of the roadway,” when he was hit by a car just east of the Chollas Creek neighborhood of San Diego.

The crash happened at 8:15 p.m. in the 5600 block of Chollas Parkway. The driver of the car fled the scene.

Additionally, police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. However, his name has been withheld pending notification of relatives.

Furthermore, an active investigation is underway for the hit-and-run on Chollas Parkway, more information will be provided once available.
