Four-Vehicle Collision on Highway 4 Takes the Life of One Man
ANTIOCH, CA ( September 13, 2012 ) – Friday afternoon, September 10, a 56-year-old man was killed in a four-vehicle collision on Highway 4.
The crash took place at 1:38 p.m. on the westbound state Highway 4 east of Hillcrest Avenue, per the report.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Infiniti G37 collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe and a large truck, it was also known that the Infiniti was traveling between the two vehicles.
The Chevrolet driver lost control of his car, colliding with the guardrail, hit by a semi truck, and then was hit by a Toyota Corolla.
Moreover, the Chevrolet driver, a 56-year-old man, was killed at the scene while the other drivers escaped without major injuries.
Alcohol or narcotics do not appear to have played a role in the crash, according to investigators.
Meanwhile, the four-vehicle collision on Highway 4 is still being investigated.
