“It's a little off the beaten path, but if you're willing to venture to Olympic and Hoover, the carnitas, santos tacos and the sweet tamale are worth the journey.”

“This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots because it's cool, low-key and always has good music playing. This is the perfect place to bring your computer and get some work done.”

“I haven't had a dish I didn't like here. The polenta and blackberry cake, however, might be my favorite.”
2. Mud Hen Tavern
“It's a comfortable space with great energy and a solid happy hour. I love the chicken and waffle croquette and the tuna ceviche with avocado, tangerine, chipotle and toasted corn.”[
“Soon after they opened, I came here with my chefs and sous chefs and had a perfect meal. The space is stunning; they did such a great job with it. We tried so many items from the menu, and everything was fantastic. The hamachi crudo, duck breast, pâté, and roasted cauliflower with butternut squash puree, hazelnuts and Medjool dates were standouts to me.”
