9-Year-Old Girl Hurt in Vehicle Crash on Jefferson Street
PHOENIX, AZ (June 9, 2022) – At least five people sustained injuries after a two-car collision on 20th Street Sunday morning.
At around 7:00 a.m. authorities responded to a two-vehicle accident at 20th and Jefferson streets.
Furthermore, under unknown circumstances, Phoenix Fire officials discovered a U-Haul on its side with an SUV resting in its cab.
Consequently, emergency crews rescued two people who were trapped inside the wreck.
Afterward, medics transported all five injured people, including a 9-year-old girl, to a nearby hospital with injuries ranging from minor to severe.
