Five Hospitalized after Pickup-Truck Rollover Collision near State Route 74

PEORIA, AZ (July 24, 2023) – Late Sunday night, five victims sustained injuries in a rollover accident on Castle Hot Springs Road. Police responded to the scene near State Route 74 after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area. Per reports, the driver of a pickup-truck veered off Castle Hot Springs Road at a high rate of speed. The truck then crashed into a 40-foot ravine before landing on its roof. First responders located the vehicle in a location that was inaccessible by foot. As a result, emergency crews had to use a technical-rescue evacuation using ropes. Medics then transported the five occupants to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.
