Several Injuries Reported after Five-Vehicle Collision near Sepulveda Boulevard
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (May 5, 2022) – A multi-vehicle crash on 405 Freeway left at least five people with injuries Monday.
The crash took place around 6:45 a.m. on the northbound 405 Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard.
Authorities arrived at the scene and found a pickup truck overturned and another vehicle facing the wrong way. Although, reports stated that the accident involved as many as five vehicles.
Responding paramedics treated four patients with minor injuries and transported another one to Northridge Hospital for further treatment.
Furthermore, the crash closed all the northbound lanes and also caused officials to issue a SigAlert for several hours.
Authorities have not released any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the accident and the factors involved remain under investigation.
