Several Injuries Reported after a Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99

FRESNO, CA (April 11, 2022)Five people sustained injuries after a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 99, last Friday.

The accident happened on the evening of Friday, April 1st, along Highway 99 near Clinton Avenue.

Furthermore, according to reports, a Dodge Ram driver failed to notice stopped traffic ahead and collided with two other cars.

Consequently, the Dodge reportedly crashed into a Toyota Corolla, carrying two adults and three children at the time.

Paramedics then rushed all five victims to the hospital for treatment of critical and severe injuries. At this time, officials have no update on their current conditions.

Meanwhile, the Dodge driver only sustained minor injuries and cooperated with the authorities. Officers later ruled out alcohol as a factor in the crash.

An active investigation into the multi-vehicle collision on Highway 99 is currently underway.
