Several People Injured Following Car Accident near National Boulevard

WEST LOS ANGELES, CA (July 28, 2023) – On Wednesday, at least five people sustained injuries after a solo-car crash on 10 Freeway. The accident happened around 2:20 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway near Palms and National Boulevard. As per the CHP, for still unknown reasons, a Tesla car went over an embankment from westbound lanes and landed into a homeless encampment. Officials arrived and discovered five victims, three of them sustained major injuries and LAPD fire had to extricate them from the vehicle. While the remaining two suffered minor injuries. Responding paramedics took all five unidentified victims to the hospital for treatment. At this time, the cause of the injury crash at 10 Freeway remains under investigation.
