Major Injuries Cause after a Hit-and-Run Crash on Paradise Road near Karen Avenue
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 10, 2021) – Five people injured, two in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash on Paradise Road in Las Vegas last Sunday.
The crash happened on August 1 at around 3:09 AM at the intersection of Paradise Road and Karen Avenue.
According to reports, a red 2015 Chrysler 300 traveling north on Paradise Road collided with a silver 2021 Ford Fusion turning left onto Karen Avenue.
As a result, the Crysler’s front end collided with the Ford’s passenger side.
Five people were injured in the crash, and paramedics took them to Sunrise Hospital. Two of them are still in critical condition with potentially fatal injuries.
Authorities stated that the driver of the Crysler fled the scene but was apprehended when they arrived.
Officials later booked the suspect at the Clark County Detention Center under suspicion of DUI and hit and run charges after displaying signs of impairment.
At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing. Once available, more information will be released.
