The 2013 Smiths/Morrissey Convention took over Avalon on April 28. Diehard fans of the famed crooner gathered to check out performances from tribute bands Maladjusted and These Charming Men. They competed for prizes in a “Name That Tune” style contest hosted by Richard Blade. The convention spilled over into upstairs club Bardot, where vendors sold everything from records to Morrissey-inspired arts and crafts.
