Three of L.A.’s most riotous dance parties (Dance, House and The Heist) join forces with Riverside’s biggest rager, Club Avenue, for an all-out rave-style explosion on four stages this week. 4 the Massive’s all-ages blast might be a bit of a drive, but for young devotees of blaring, synth-soaked neo-tech sounds it’s a can’t-miss. The Heist’s DJ Hyphy Crunk, Dance’s Paparazzi, Reid Speed and DJ Sin helm the decks along with lots more laptop poppers, and the requisite photo booths, roaming shutterbugs, chaotic visuals and video are sure to feed even the most hardcore A.D.D.-afflicted dance heads. Hudson Theatre & Gotham, 295 E. Caroline St., San Bernardino. www.4themassive.com.

Those staying in L.A. Saturday will want to head over to Solid Gold and Hear Gallery’s Masquerade Ball, featuring a flurry of bands and DJs (Polyamorous Affair, Slaying Mantis, Killsonic, Anne Lee, Clifton, Dorian). Solid Gold’s after-hours events in Echo Park have been building quite a following lately, and the last bash at this loft-y downtown location was as close to an underground as we’ve been to in a while. No doubt this Ball will bounce just as hard. 265 S. Main St., dwntwn. www.myspace.com/theheargallery. Both events, Saturday, April 4.
