Fiery Collision along Blanco Road Killed Four Men

SALINAS, CA (September 12, 2022) – Friday afternoon, officers were dispatched to a fiery crash on Blanco Road that left two dead.

The deadly incident happened on September 2nd at about 2:56 p.m. in Marina, between Copper and Reservation Road. According to police, the victims were only identified as Ron, Art, Mike and Tom.

Investigation showed that the four men were operating a Home Depot moving truck when it veered off the road and crashed into a light pole causing it to burst into flames.

As a result, the four men were pronounced dead inside the truck by responding medics.

Meanwhile, authorities temporarily closed both directions of the roadway to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

An active investigation into the fiery crash on Blanco Road is currently underway at this time. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available to the public.
